Contract Duration: 12 weeks

Schedule

• 4-day work week, 9.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Rotational weekend and weekday STEMI on-call
  
  

Job Description

The Cat Scan Tech (Cardiac Cath Lab) will assist in the preparation and execution of various cardiac and vascular procedures. This role involves working closely with physicians to ensure the effective treatment of patients during cardiac catheterization procedures, PCIs (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), and other interventional radiology procedures.

Experience

• Direct and current experience in a cardiac cath lab environment
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures (PCI, STEMI)
• Experience monitoring and documenting hemodynamic data
• Experience with procedural assistance and patient management in interventional settings
  
  

Skills And Certifications

• Required Certifications:
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience
• Preferred Certifications:
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
  

Key Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Proficiency with ACLS and BLS
• Expertise as a Radiologic Technologist or CVT
• Experience with PCI and STEMI procedures
