Job Title: Cath Lab Specialist (Allied)
Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Pay Rate: $77/hr Depending on experience.
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Rotating; 4x10s | Day/Evening Rotate and must take on-call hours as well.
"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 75 miles from the facility."
Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring).
- Monitor and document patient vitals during procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or certification in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
- Experience: EP / Cath Lab experience (Required). Cath Lab scrubbing experience (Required), including structural.
- Skills: Proficiency in operating Cath Lab equipment.
- Scrubbing: Cath Lab scrubbing experience required, including structural procedures.
- Certifications:
- ARRT(Required)
- AHA BLS (Required)
- License: NY license is (Required)
- Other: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
