We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to our patients and assist our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the attention and care they need to recover and thrive.
- F/T Eves CNA
- Must work every other weekend
- Must float throughout the facility on all units
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility, while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients’ vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Support Nursing Staff: Assist nurses with medical procedures, wound care, and the administration of basic treatments as directed.
- Patient Communication: Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns and helping them feel comfortable during their stay.
- Environment Maintenance: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and observations in the medical records.
- Certification: Active CNA certification in the state of [NY].
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist patients, as well as perform other physical tasks associated with patient care.
