Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Develop and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and promote best practices in patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee patient care activities to ensure that care standards are met and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the nursing department's budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all nursing practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and prepare the facility for inspections and audits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and administrators, to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
- Patient Care Oversight: Monitor and enhance the quality of care provided to patients, ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively and compassionately.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
