Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician (Allied)
Location: Johnson City, NY 13790
Pay Rate: $75/hr
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 8hr Day
Guarantee Hours: 40
"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."
Description / Comment :
- Must have NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification, NYS License
- Stress Tests, Biliary Scans, Lung scans, Bone Scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Thyroid Uptake and Scans, All general Nuclear Medicine studies performed.
- 15-20 cases/day
- All General Electric Nuclear Medicine cameras, Biodex Dose calibrator, EPIC, NMIS, Xeleris.
- One year Nuclear Medicine experience
- BLS, CPR certification. Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients following established protocols.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other specialized studies.
- Operate gamma cameras and other imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of administered doses and imaging results.
