Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
- Use therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications to care plans.
- Maintain and manage occupational therapy equipment and materials.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
