"We are seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technician for a 13-week travel/contract assignment in Newburyport, Massachusetts 01950.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hrs/week | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start (depending on department needs)
• Shift: 8-hour shifts | Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, and drain placements under the guidance of physicians.
• Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging equipment during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, supplies, and assist with contrast media injections.
• Monitor and evaluate patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams including radiologists, cardiologists, and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and imaging data.
• Follow all safety protocols, including radiation protection measures.
• Support and educate patients and their families before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and functioning properly.
• Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Specialized training in Interventional Radiology (required).
• Current ARRT registration (R) (required).
• Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (required).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required).
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (required).
• Strong understanding of anatomy, sterile technique, and procedural protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
