Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Position Name: Travel RN - Emergency Room

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89106

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks - Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: $2628 - $2700 weekly

Unit: Emergency Room

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour shifts, any 3 days of the week, including weekends, as required by the facility

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ER unit
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - Required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) - Preferred
  
  

Education, License, And Certification Requirements

• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or equivalent - Required
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) or equivalent - Highly preferred
• Active RN License for the State of NV
• AHA (American Heart Association) BLS, ACLS, PALS Provider certification
• NIHSS certification
• COVID Vaccination Proof
• Copy of Driver’s License or Photo ID
• Resume

Job Description

• Responsible for providing patient care based upon the nursing process in Emergency Department; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and Evaluation.
