Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, nebulization, and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- State licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
- Strong knowledge of respiratory medications, equipment, and therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
