Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Ensure that nursing care is provided in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Oversee staff scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
- Mentor, train, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and high standards of care.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the nursing team.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and administrative records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective patient care delivery.
- Current and valid RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred..
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
