Job Title: Surgical Tech
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Shift: 10hr Day
Overview:
Support surgical teams by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Description / Comment :
- Surgical Tech
- MUST HAVE SCRUB EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE TRAUMA EXPERIENCE
- 75 MILE RADIUS RULE
- 7A-5P
- 40 hours
- on-call 1 day per week, once a month on call – weekends
- OT after 48
- 2 years experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Surgical Tech certification, NBSTSA or NCCT (or grandfathered based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain a sterile environment.
- Pass instruments to surgeons during operations.
- Sterilize and organize surgical tools.
- Assist with patient care pre- and post-surgery.
