Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri including weekends as needed, holiday rotation required if scheduled

Position Requirements
- Current LTC experience: 1 years - Required
- Ability to move up to 25 lbs. & frequently lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related to working with persons who are ill, disabled, elderly and/or emotionally upset.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities
- Must have own /reliable transportation, there is no ride share available in this area. Must be comfortable driving in snow and ice. -Required.
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
- Covid Vaccination Proof or Status - Required
- LPN License for State of Michigan - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN
- Making frequent rounds to evaluate the resident status
- Passing medication to patients as required by their physician
- Providing wound care
- Documenting care that is provided and assure that practices are consistent with facility policies and procedures
- Oversee nursing assistants and ensure assignments are complete
- No more than 5 days RTO will be approved, RTO dates must be provided with the submission
- No block schedule guaranteed/ Must be able to work as needed.
- ATTENDANCE is a MUST -- Facility reserves the right to cancel an active assignment due to multiple NC/NS, call-outs, etc...
- Facility has a cat and dog that live onsite full time. Please make sure candidates are aware in case they are uncomfortable with dogs or casts or have any allergies to them
