- Outpatient Experience is preferred.
- Will accept New Grads? NO
- Will accept First Time Travelers? NO
- Float to other clinics: NO
- Patient Population: Tricare (active duty soldiers), work comp, post op, MVAL, very diverse
- 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours.
- OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.
- Productivity expectation is 60 visits/ week; Will see 12-14 patients/day; Double-booking of follow up visits expected.
- Assistant Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and functional abilities.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and record patients' progress and responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
- Document patient interactions, treatment outcomes, and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain and manage physical therapy equipment and supplies.
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Georgia.
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- 3 references required for candidate to start, no exceptions.
