Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: $2268 Weekly

Unit: Rad Tech, X-Ray

Shifts: 12-hr, Days

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week. Week 1: Sunday 9a-9.30p, Thursday and Friday 7a-7.30p | Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 7a-7.30p and Saturday 9a-9.30p | Holiday coverage if required

Position Requirements

• Radiologic Technologist Experience: 1 year – Required
• X-Ray Experience - Required
• MUST be proficient/highly experienced with the following; Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, & OR c-arm - Required
• MUST have experience with ALL ages groups - Required
• Previous travel experience – Preferred
• Experience with surgery and mobile c-arm use - Required
• Travel/contract experience – Highly preferred
  
  

Education, License And Certification Requirements

• ARRT Certification Required
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC - Required
• NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (Active or eligible to apply through reciprocity upon offer)
  
  

Job Description

• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician.
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operates film processing equipment.
• Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patient's bedside.
