Position Requirements
- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Emergency Room Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2 years – Required
- Prior Travel experience – Required
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of NV - Required
- BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
- TNCC, NIHSS – Required
- Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in ER Room.
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Emergency Departments as directed by nursing management.
- Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations.
- The Registered Nurse is accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise.
- Being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and Evaluation
- Safely and accurately administer medications
- Participate in patient and family teaching
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
