Description / Comment
- E/N shift
- Call required approx. every 3rd weekend- sat 8am-mon 8am
- Process instrumentation from OR and Off Sites
- Decontaminate and clean surgical instruments and equipment.
- Inspect instruments for damage, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Assemble and package instrument trays and sets according to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure compliance with standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (e.g., CRCST or CBSPD) preferred.
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection control standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
