(Urgent Hiring) Travel Social Worker LMSW in Brattleboro, VT

Position Name: Travel Social Worker LMSW (Inpatient)

Location: Brattleboro, VT 05302

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: $2400 to $2800 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Behavioral health unit, Adolescent and Children unit

Shift: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00a – 5.00p

Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5shifts per week during Monday-Friday, Occasional possible weekend coverage if needed, No call

Position Requirements:

• Recent/Current Social Worker experience: 2 years - Required
• Recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health settings: 2 years – Required
• Inpatient Social Work experience: 1-2 years - Preferred
• Experience with Adolescent and Child patient population - Required
• Must accept a flexible 40-hour workweek scheduled to meet the needs of patients and families within the guidelines of the bargaining agreement – Required

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• MSW Masters Degree in Social Work or Equivalent – Required
• LMSW Social Work License (Equivalent or Higher) for State of VT - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
• BLS Certification from AHA - Required (Can obtain upon offer)

Job Description:

• Under general supervision, responsible for providing clinical/case management services to patients and their families in order to promote the optimal individual, interpersonal and social functioning of the patient and assure reintegration in to the community or the environment most suited to the patient’s continued well-being.
• Must be flexible to work across the life span with our Child/Adolescent and Adult populations.
• Provide social work, case management, therapy services to the assigned case load.
• Performs all job duties in line with Social Worker, Behavioral Health Therapist responsibilities.
• Follows all organizational policies and procedures outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual of the facility.
