Position Name: LPN Behavioral Health

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $1600 to $1680 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s
Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Day shifts
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, M-F, with weekends if needed
Position Requirements:
- LPN: 1 years - Required
- Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health in a detox setting: 1 year – Required
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- LPN License for State of NH or Compact - Required
- CPI or HWC Certification - Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
Job Description:
- Provide and coordinate care for patients in Detox Units.
- Assist with developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- The LPN will maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
- The LPN will provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
- Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
- Notify physicians and Supervising RN's of significant changes in status
