Urgently Hiring for Travel LPN/LVN Long Term Care

Position Name: Travel LPN/LVN - LTC (Long Term Care)

Location: Windsor, VT 05089

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks (Accepting Travel Candidates only)

Pay Rate: $1512 Weekly Gross Pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: LTC

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed (3 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, every other weekend)

Position Requirements:

• Current LPN Experience: 3 years (Required)
• Recent LTC Experience: Required
• Cerner EMR Experience: Required
• Prior Travel or Contract Experience: Preferred
• COVID Vaccinations and Flu Vaccinations: Required prior to start
• Vehicle Requirement: Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

• LPN License: For the State of Vermont or Compact License (Required)
• BLS Certification: From AHA (Required)

Job Description:

• Coordinate and provide nursing care for patients in an LTC setting under RN delegation.
• Participate in patient and family teaching while maintaining professional standards in the LTC setting.
• Demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process and assessing patient problems/needs.
• Provide all aspects of nursing care within the nurse's skillset and scope of practice.
• Assist, support, and educate patients as part of the nursing team.
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and patient care team members.
