Position Name: Travel RN Behavioral Health

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $2088 to $2232 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Behavioral health units (Adult unit)
Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Days, 7.00 am - 7.30 pm
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and some on-call (48 hours per week available)
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 5 years - Required
- 2- 3 years of recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health nursing, recent experience within the last 3 months – Required
- Must have experience working with adult populations - Required
- Must have experience and be willing to float to across all units (Adult, Adolescent and Child units) - Required
- Must be willing to take Charge RN shifts
- RTO no more than 7 days
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of VT or Compact - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
- CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s. (All ages)
- Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Must be willing to charge RN shift if needed
- Must float to all assigned units (Adult, Adolescent and Children)
