Position Name : Phlebotomist

Location : Maple Grove MN 55369

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type : Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary

Contract Length : 13 weeksAccepting Travel Candidates only

Pay Rate : $1080 Weekly Gross pay (Nontaxable travel / housing and M&I stipend available for qualified / eligible travelers)

Unit : Laboratory

Shift available : Nights

Shift timings : 8 Hours; Nights 11.00pm 7.30 am

Schedule : 40 hours / week guaranteed 5 Shifts per week MonFri Every other weekend

Position Requirements :

  • Current / recent Phlebotomist experience in a hospital / clinical setting : 1 years Required
  • Experience drawing blood : 1 year Highly preferred
  • Experience with all patient populations Required
  • Epic Experience Required

Education License and Certification Requirements :

  • NHA or ASCP Phlebotomy Certification Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA Required

    • Job Description :

  • Performs blood specimen collection.
  • Performs responsibilities with consideration for customers who may include : infants children adolescents adults or geriatrics.
  • Performs computer data entry / login of specimens and computer related duties as needed.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
  • The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency including improvement where deemed necessary and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
