Job Title : Cath Lab Technician

Location : Morristown NJ 07960

Payrate : $70 / hr

Schedule & Shift Details :

  • Days per week : 3
  • Shift : 8 : 00 AM 8 : 30 PM
  • OnCall Requirement :
  • Weeknights : 1 per week (7 : 30 PM 7 : 00 AM)
  • Weekends : 1 per month (oncall only)
  • Floating : No
  • Call Back : Oncall pay provided with call requirement

Job Duties :

  • Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterization (Cath) procedures PCI (STEMI) and other interventional cardiology cases.
  • Assist with peripheral vascular pacemaker and interventional radiology procedures .
  • Monitor document and calculate hemodynamic data .
  • Provide procedural support to physicians during pre intra and postprocedure stages.
  • Assess and manage access sites communicating necessary information to physicians.
  • Adhere to oncall protocols for the Cath Lab.
  • Prepare patients for procedures.

    • Required Skills & Certifications :

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) OR RCIS Certified (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
  • IABP Experience (Required)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab Experience (Required)

    • Preferred Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
