Job Title: Urgent Need - Retail Pharmacist
Location: Horseheads, NY 14845
Payrate: $70-$75/hourly
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guarantee Hours: 32 Hours
Shift: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on the use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
- Review prescriptions to ensure they are appropriate for the patient and check for potential drug interactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Pharmacology Knowledge: Understanding drug actions, interactions, and effects.
- Patient Assessment: Evaluating patients' medication needs and responses.
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Optimizing therapeutic outcomes for patients.
- Disease Management: Knowledge of chronic and acute disease states
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving medication-related issues.
