Job Title: X-ray Technician (Allied)

Location: Rochester, NY, 14617

Pay Rate: $50/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: 8hr Days

Guarantee Hours: 40

"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."

Description / Comment:

• F/T X-Ray Tech
• M-F 7:45a-4:15p 40hrs.
• Ortho experience a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
• Position patients correctly and ensure comfort during the procedure.
• Operate X-ray machines and ensure high-quality images are captured.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Document and report imaging results and patient data accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• State licensure as an X-ray Technician in New York.
• Proven experience in performing X-ray procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
