We are looking for a skilled Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator with 2-5 years of hands-on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, allowing them to operate and troubleshoot multi-spindle screw machines efficiently. A keen eye for precision is essential, as the role involves reading and interpreting micrometers and blueprints to ensure high-quality parts are produced to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines and ensure accuracy.
- Use micrometers and other measuring tools to inspect and verify parts during and after production.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, identify root causes, and make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize production rates while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure that all parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and improve production processes.
- Familiarity with calibration processes and ensuring machines are accurately calibrated to meet specifications.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and requirements is a plus, as the role may involve producing parts for automotive applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
