We are currently seeking a full-time Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an in-person opportunity that will require occasional travel.
The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System Support Specialist (Kansas) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the assessment, selection, and implementation of the EMR and any upgrades or enhancements. This professional research emerging trends and improves current EMR systems by studying current practices, workflows, and forms as well as suggests modifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience implementing EHR’s and other healthcare-related systems
- 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of healthcare related regulations
- Knowledge of methodologies and interfaces such as SOA, API, etc.
- Experience working with secure FTP and file sharing platforms such as Dropbox, Box, etc.
- Knowledge of correctional/general healthcare standards such as HIPAA, NCCHC, HL7, ICD10, and environments preferred
- 1-3 years Project Management experience
- Experience implementing projects for state agencies is a plus
