Job Summary: We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Women's Therapeutic Residential Center in Henning, Tennessee. The Dental Assistant will work under direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

- Assist Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments
- Prepare and maintain the dental operatory
- Operate radiographic equipment
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months of experience as a dental assistant
- Tennessee DA license or ability to obtain license
- Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred
- Certification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferred
- Maintain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR certification
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
