We are currently seeking Infection Control RN for full-time day shift opportunities at Washington State Prison in Davisboro, GA!
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting, interpreting, and reporting of data, assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and will serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding care, tracking, and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.
Qualifications
- Georgia RN license or ability to obtain license
- ADA and Infection Control Experience preferred
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required but preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Schedule: 10 hours shift, FT, every other weekend 12 hour shifts.
