As a Pharmacy Technician at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, MO, you will work closely with the Licensed Pharmacist to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients within the correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interacting with healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department
* Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders and other records as required by the Pharmacist
* Performing other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent required
* Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
* Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
* Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check
