We are seeking a part-time Blood Draw Specialist to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution in Maryland.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have the ability to draw blood, check vital signs, perform finger stick blood sugars, and assist with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Perform finger stick blood sugar checks
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as a Phlebotomist with formal training and on-the-job experience
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to obtain security clearance
Available Shift
8 hour shifts on Wednesday and Thursday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
