Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
We are currently seeking a per-diem Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri. This role will involve administering medications as prescribed under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, and documenting the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have current active Level 1 Medical Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH).
- Insulin certification required.
- Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification.
- Available shifts: Per diem all shifts.
