Salary range: $23 - $27/hr, depending on years of experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Maryland Correctional Training Center (MCTC) located in Hagerstown, Maryland.
The Phlebotomist performs a variety of duties including: drawing blood using appropriate techniques and/or receives specimens from patients, provides instructions to patients prior to specimen collection, labels all specimens appropriately, coordinates pick up of lab specimens, reporting, assisting nursing staff as needed, maintains logs of refrigerator temperatures, restocks specimen collection equipment and more.
Available shift: Day shift 730A-4P
Qualifications
- Must hold valid Phlebotomy certification in Maryland
- Must have completed formal training in phlebotomy and have at least six months of experience as a phlebotomist
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
