Since 1997, Centurion has proudly partnered with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide mental health services. We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. Centurion is actively seeking Primary Care Physicians throughout the state for both leadership and outpatient physician opportunities. This provider can live anywhere in Georgia but preferably in South, Georgia.
The Regional Medical Director provides the comprehensive medical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of a specific contract within his or her designated region, in collaboration with the other Regional Medical Directors, as guided by the Statewide Medical Director, and coordinates or provides the clinical and utilization management services needed to meet the service delivery requirements for the specific contract. The Regional Medical Director will also mentor, clinically supervise and evaluate the team-delivered medical services for the patients within his/hers designated territory.

Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• 1-2 years of leadership/directorship experience required
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
