As a correctional healthcare specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of patients in a correctional facility setting. This position requires a Psychiatrist with a strong background in mental health care, including a board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. Candidates must also possess a current Kansas license and maintain an active DEA registration certificate. Background investigations and agency security clearance may also be required.
The schedule for this position consists of 40 hours per week worked in four ten-hour weekday shifts. This allows for a stable and predictable work environment with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Call responsibilities are limited, promoting a better work-life balance.
