Full Time Pay Rate is between $18-25/hour, depending on experience
PRN Rate is $20-22/hour
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a both Full-Time & PRN Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Putnamville Correctional Facility located in Greencastle, Indiana.
3/12 Hour NIGHT Shift hours: 6:00pm-6:30am
PRN - As Needed Basis
Benefits (Full-time Only) & Shift Differential
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) (Indiana) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living while monitoring patients to report changes in their conditions.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required
• QMA certification required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
