Centurion is proud to be the NEW provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director for clinical services provided to the Maryland Pre-Trial and Incarcerated populations at Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI) in Westover, Maryland.
The Site Medical Director, under the supervision of the Regional Medical Director, provides the following:
- Clinical direction needed and direct patient care to meet the service delivery requirements of assigned site
- Supervision and evaluation of medical services for pre-trial or incarcerated populations.
- Clinical supervision for medical staff.
- Chair or participation in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
- Interfacing with agency clinical and administrative leadership on issues related to medical services.
- Close collaboration with onsite providers and nursing staff in the provision of healthcare services to pre-trial and incarcerated populations
Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Leadership/directorship experience preferred
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required

• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
