What are the responsibilities and job description for the Statewide UM Reports Coordinator position at Centurion Health?
Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Statewide Reports Coordinator to support our Regional Office team in Columbia, Maryland.
The Statewide Reports Coordinator maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence related to the program. This person oversees the processing of health information in various clinical settings. This position is typically a FT position (M-F, regular business hours).
- Associates Degree in healthcare field required. Bachelors degree preferred
- Maintain current professional licensure in nursing or professional field of certification
- Minimum of two years of utilization review/ case management experience or social work experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in discharge planning from a hospital preferred
- Appropriate certification in case management preferred (Commission for Case Management Certification or Association of Rehabilitation Nurses)
- High level computer knowledge; ability to input, retrieve, manipulate, analyze and interpret data
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills, professional phone etiquette and demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Accurate typing skills
- Preferred working knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs
- Corrections experience is a plus
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
