Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in Idaho.
Our Travel Program Licensed Practical Nurses are part of an exciting travel team who works between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient “block” scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends.
Responsibilities
The Travel LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Idaho, per contract needs. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Qualifications
- Idaho LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Compact Licensure preferred
- At least two (2) years of LPN experience
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Idaho as needed per contract needs
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required, but preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
