Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Technical Support Specialist 1 to join our IT Team located in Tallahassee, Florida .
This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $21
Monday - Friday schedule, with date shift hours.
The Technical Support Specialist I position will be based out of Tallahassee, FL and will be the first level of technical support provided to our end users. Support tickets will be received by both phone and email. Responsibilities include, but not limited to; troubleshooting and resolving computer, printer, software, and network related issues. Basic technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills are required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in a corporate helpdesk environment preferred
Certification in Comptia A , Comptia Network , or Microsoft MCP preferred
Basic understanding of networking principles ( TCP / IP protocols), Active Directory, and Exchange
General knowledge of electronics, PC architecture, PC operating systems, and Microsoft Office
Demonstrated expertise in Remote Desktop Management; PC troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance; and printer troubleshooting
Experience with current Windows operating systems
Extensive application support experience of current Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Exchange)
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including application error and system event logs review to include ping, traceroute, IPConfig, and Psexec
