Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a full time Therapeutic Recreational Therapist to join our team at Morgan County Correctional Complex located in Wartburg, Tennessee.
The Therapeutic Recreational Therapist provides rehabilitative programs and services through appropriate patient assessment, service planning, therapeutic activities, discharge planning, and community reintegration to develop, maintain, or restore the physical, emotional, and social competencies of patients. This professional provides recovery-focused treatment activities and participates on the treatment teams of patients assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or closely related field required
- Active Recreational Therapist license preferred
- NCCAP certification preferred
- Must be able to pass security background clearance
