We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a developer builder specializing in multifamily projects based in the space coast. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices, site safety, and be eager to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Superintendent in the daily management, supervision, and coordination of all construction site activities.
- Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality work, safety compliance, and timely delivery of work according to schedule.
- Assist in enforcing site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
- Maintain daily reports, site logs, and documentation.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate on-site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Conduct walk-throughs to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Help resolve on-site issues and proactively communicate with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Manage punch list activities and assist with project close-out.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in multifamily residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
