Job Summary:
The Heavy Industrial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects in the manufacturing, data centre, or energy sectors, with a strong understanding of heavy industrial construction processes and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of heavy industrial projects, from initial planning and design to construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present detailed project progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
