Centurion Selection is currently recruiting for a self-performing developer specializing in the design, construction, and management of high-end multifamily projects. This company prides itself on delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship with a commitment to innovation and sustainability. As a growing leader in the industry, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead the successful execution of large-scale, luxury multifamily construction projects.


The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of high-end multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing complex construction schedules while ensuring that projects meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication, risk mitigation, and high-quality delivery. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with extensive experience in multifamily construction and the ability to manage self-performed trades effectively.


Responsibilities:


  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of high-end multifamily construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met, resources are allocated effectively, and work is completed on time.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Establish and manage project budgets, track expenditures, perform cost analyses, and identify areas for cost savings. Ensure that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor project teams, including field supervisors, subcontractors, and self-perform teams. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Contractor & Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate, negotiate, and manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks (e.g., safety, delays, cost overruns) and develop mitigation strategies to address them before they impact the project.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high standards of quality are maintained on all aspects of construction, from the design phase through to final inspections.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Safety Oversight: Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety across the job site.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and daily logs. Provide timely and detailed reports on project progress, budgets, and schedules to upper management.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Quickly and effectively address unforeseen challenges, including changes in scope, design issues, and conflicts with subcontractors or vendors.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.


Experience:


  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in multifamily construction management, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up, high-end, luxury multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Experience working for a self-performing developer with an in-house construction team is highly preferred.


Skills:


  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, MS Project), and cost estimation tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Proficient in budget and cost management practices with the ability to read and interpret financial reports.


Certifications:


  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • OSHA 30-hour or equivalent safety certification preferred.
  • Ability to work on construction sites and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project needs.

Salary : $160,000 - $170,000
