Position : Survey Project Manager

Location : Chattanooga, TN

Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000

We are looking for a full-time Survey Project Manager to join our team in Chattanooga. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for planning and overseeing project schedules for diverse public and private sector clients. Your expertise in technical staff management and proposal coordination will shine as you collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and fellow surveyors on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Schedule field and office projects with support.
Define project staffing needs.
Develop project timelines, scope, and budgets.
Monitor and maintain project schedules.
Ensure quality control through surveys and peer reviews.
Manage survey staff effectively.
Supervise control, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys.
Oversee CAD standards for employees and subcontractors.
Collaborate across departments for seamless multi-discipline projects.
Cultivate strong client relationships and participate in business development.
Take charge of the full project lifecycle, including financial objectives.
Adapt to additional responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor license.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

6 years of relevant office experience.

In-depth knowledge of surveying fundamentals, principles, and equipment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Familiarity with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center.

Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Experience in contracts, negotiations, budgets, and estimating.

Leadership skills to guide and support staff in multi-disciplinary projects.

Effective technical communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Proficiency in GEOPAK, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.

Experience with LiDAR capabilities, such as 3D laser scanning and point cloud registration.
