About the Candidate
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Upon submission of application, proof of the following must be provided:
- Current State of Florida Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate
- Current designation as a Basic Life Support provider
- A valid State of Florida driver’s license
- Completion of a minimum certified 16-hour emergency driving course
- Successful applicants must meet all requirements for Drivers as listed in Florida Statutes 401.281
- While working for Century Ambulance Service, Inc., the EMT must have on his person at all times: Florida driver’s license, EMT license, and BLS card.
