Job Title: Flight Coordinator
Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Flight Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate travel experiences for both charter clients and air ambulance patients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, adhering to regulations, and providing exceptional support to passengers and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee travel arrangements for charter clients and air ambulance patients.
- Ensure in-flight catering meets the needs of all passengers.
- Arrange rental vehicles and ground transport for passengers and medical teams.
- Ensure adherence to all aviation and medical regulations.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients, patients, families, and medical teams.
- Monitor weather conditions to ensure safe travel.
- Work closely with the Ground Support Team and medical staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage flight release, airworthiness, and weather assessments.
- Confirm airplane and crew availability, optimizing schedules for service quality and patient needs.
- Ensure flight crew meets FAA and company requirements.
- Assess aircraft airworthiness before flights.
- Track flight progress and handle unscheduled operations.
- Initiate emergency response plans as needed.
- Maintain timely and professional interactions with internal departments and customers.
- Provide coaching and training for new flight coordinators.
- Handle aircraft reservations and CEO trip approvals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year in aviation or related fields (logistics planning), preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with MS Office, web interfaces, and VOIP systems. Preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.
- Marketing skills and international operations experience are a plus.
HOURS: Full-time (40 hours per week) varying shifts. The company operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some overtime.
