Core -Duties and Responsibilities
- General Site Labor
- Direct subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget and to Century’s High Standards
- Effectively communicate in the field
- Assist in walkthroughs
- Assist with Punch list
- Chlorinate well
- Maintain an organized, clean and efficient job site
- Assisting the project superintendent in scheduling all day to day activities and maintaining a project schedule.
- Promoting and maintaining a culture that values safety, health and cleanliness.
- Is deadline driven, punctual and respects other peoples time.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying items up to 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to perform a variety of construction tasks in all areas and aspects of the project including but not limited to scaffolding, platform work, confined spaces, and exposure to outside elements
- Must be able to see well, naturally or with correction and coordinate the movements of eyes, hands and fingers
- Climbing and maintaining balance on ladders and scaffolding
- Standing and/or walking for long periods, often times over uneven or unpaved ground
- Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
- Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud
- Ability to operate a forklift is a bonus
