Essential Functions and Primary Duties
In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skillsServe as client's trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and teamManage staff on engagement deliverables; complete technical and strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on-time delivery and on budgetDemonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.Understand the client's organization, procedures, and internal policiesReviewing complex tax returns including federal and multi-state tax returnsUnderstanding your clients' goals and needs and servicing clients directlyOwning client relationships and workStrategizing with Managing Directors regarding tax planningProvide clients' with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clientsResearching tax issues and providing guidance to clientsWorking closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staffFoster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culturePreferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related fieldMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required6 years of experience in public accounting or related field3 years supervisory experienceMust have active CPA or equivalent certificationAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsProficient use of applicable technologyThe annual salary target for this job in this market is $115,000- $170,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
