POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Red Star Grill Attendant Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. This position is responsible for learning the various policies and procedures of the company that are required for the success of Red Star Grill.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Learn and follow through with all Departmental Training materials to maintain proper training.
- Responsible for ensuring all food and beverage products are rotated and served in a quick and neat fashion.
- Responsible for cleaning the floor, counter, and machines in the Red Star Grill area.
- Assists management with all sanitation and nutrition practices in restaurant to ensure outlet meets or exceeds said practices and requirements.
- Responsible for the implementation of company programs to improve guest services and guest experience.
- Responsible for following all cashiering policy and procedures with accuracy and safeguarding of funds, i.e. cash, comps, credit cards etc.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance
Mental Demands:
- Must be able to maintain professionalism during high-volume business
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures including, but not limited to heat of cooking equipment and cold of walk-in cooler/freezers.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds and above average noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Knowledge:
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide with/or without the aid of a calculating device.
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow instructions.
Other:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming license.
- Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.
- Must complete all required company training.
