What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Technician Fulltime Varied Shifts position at Century Casinos Inc?
FUNCTION:
Responsible for maintaining convention areas, banquet rooms and special event venues with audio visual requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow daily set up and strike procedures to facilitate audio visual needs for all Nugget conventions, banquets, special events and showroom.
- Organize and maintain audio visual equipment.
- Provide support to all Nugget electronic equipment including the repairs of equipment located in the following areas: Surveillance, Bingo, and Keno.
- Service and take preventative maintenance measures on existing and new installations as needed.
- Take direction from Audio Visual Manager and Lead Audio Visual Technician.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with convention and banquet clientele, vendors, co-workers, hotel guests and all other Nugget employees.
- Resolve all convention, banquet, and guest room technical problems and customer complaints to the best of your ability. Communicate all complaints to the Lead Audio Visual Manager or Lead technician.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Maintain a professional manner at all times when on or off duty, reflecting a positive image of the Audio-Visual department and the Nugget.
- Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond.”
- Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
- Always maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Lead AV Technician
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE:
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year industry experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
PHSYICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time.
Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Nevada Employee Gaming Registration required.
